TQL Stadium

TQL Stadium sits at the western edge of Over-the-Rhine and the eastern edge of the historic West End neighborhood. Over-the-Rhine — Cincinnati's most-restored 19th-century German neighborhood and the city's deepest restaurant and brewery cluster — runs east of the stadium and is the densest pre-match corridor for sit-down dinners and bars. Findlay Market, the city's signature public market, sits a short walk east on Elm Street. Downtown Cincinnati and Fountain Square are a 15-minute walk south, and the Ohio River waterfront (with Great American Ball Park and Paycor Stadium) is a 20-minute walk south. Music Hall — the restored 1878 home of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra — is a short walk east on Elm Street and forms part of the OTR civic anchor.

Arrive earlier than feels necessary — the supporters' march from the OTR taprooms into the stadium is a core part of the matchday experience, and security screening at the main gates can stack up. FC Cincinnati's Bailey supporters' section (named for the late club founder Carl Lindner III's family-affiliated tradition and anchored in the north end) produces one of the loudest, most-organized atmospheres in MLS. The stadium's perimeter LED lighting changes color in real time during matches — the most-photographed exterior feature in MLS — and the 360-degree continuous canopy keeps weather off most seats while leaving the field uncovered. The team publishes current bag policy, clear-bag rules, and gate-open times on its official site and these change season to season — check before traveling. Mobile-only tickets and cash-free concessions are the norm.

TQL Stadium opened in May 2021 as the new home of FC Cincinnati, anchoring the West End redevelopment immediately west of Over-the-Rhine. The stadium is named for Total Quality Logistics, the Cincinnati-area freight brokerage that holds long-term naming rights. The signature exterior feature is the perimeter LED lighting that changes color in real time during matches — the most-photographed stadium exterior in MLS. The 360-degree continuous canopy roof covers the seating bowl while leaving the field uncovered, and the interior design pulls the seats unusually close to the touchlines (the closest of any MLS stadium at the time of opening). FC Cincinnati joined MLS as an expansion team in 2019, played its first two seasons at the University of Cincinnati's Nippert Stadium, and won the 2023 Supporters' Shield (regular-season-best record) — its first major MLS trophy. The Bailey supporters' section in the north end has quickly established itself among the league's loudest organized atmospheres.
