Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of GameAway — the website at www.gameaway.io and any tools or pages we operate under that domain. By using the site you agree to them.

1. Who we are

GameAway is operated as a sole proprietorship (enskild firma) registered in Sweden, postal code 343 34. Contact: info@gameaway.io.

2. What we do

We publish editorial guides to sports venues and travel corridors, and run trip-planning tools that combine real game schedules with booking suggestions. We are an information and referral service — we do not sell tickets, hotel rooms, or rental cars ourselves. Anything you book happens directly with the partner whose site you end up on after clicking through.

3. Accounts

Account creation is optional and free; you only need one to save trips across devices. You're responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time by emailing info@gameaway.io from the address you signed up with (see our Privacy Policy, section 7).

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, crawl, or otherwise harvest content from the site beyond what robots.txt permits;
• interfere with the service (denial-of-service attempts, abuse of rate-limited endpoints, attempts to bypass authentication);
• impersonate other users or send misleading information through the contact form or share features;
• use the service to break the law or any third party's rights.

5. Affiliate disclosure

Many of the ticket / hotel / experience / parking links on the site are affiliate links. If you book or buy through them, GameAway earns a commission from the partner — at no extra cost to you and with no effect on the price you pay. Affiliate relationships do not influence editorial coverage; we recommend the partner that actually serves the venue or city in question, not whichever pays most.

6. Third-party content and bookings

Game schedules, ticket prices, hotel availability, parking lots, and similar third-party data come from external sources (FIFA, league scheduling APIs, SeatGeek, Klook, ParkWhiz, Google Places, and others). We try to keep them accurate but we don't control them and they can change without notice. Always confirm critical details — kick-off times, venue access, ticket availability, cancellation policies — on the partner's site before traveling.

Bookings, payments, cancellations, refunds, and customer service for anything you book happen under the partner's own terms. GameAway is not a party to those contracts.

7. Editorial content

Venue and city guides are editorial — written for travelers, with operational claims hedged where things change season-to-season. We do our best to keep them current and to cite sources where it matters, but we don't guarantee accuracy or fitness for any particular trip. Treat them as a starting point, not a contract.

8. Intellectual property

All site content — text, design, code, images we created — is © 2026 GameAway unless noted. You're welcome to link to us, quote short excerpts for editorial purposes with attribution, and share trip URLs you generate. You may not reproduce substantial sections of the site, mirror its data, or use it to train machine learning models without prior written permission.

Team names, league logos, stadium names, and similar marks belong to their respective owners; we use them under nominative fair use for editorial reference.

9. Warranty disclaimer

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GameAway will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages — lost bookings, missed flights, sold-out games, trip changes — arising from your use of the site or reliance on its information. Our aggregate liability for any direct claim is limited to EUR 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Swedish or EU consumer law.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; the “last updated” date at the top will reflect the change. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version.

12. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts, except where mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
