These Terms govern your use of GameAway (gameaway.io). By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

GameAway is operated by Wes Bodenhamer, a sole proprietorship (enskild firma) registered in Sweden. Contact: hello@gameaway.io.

What GameAway is

GameAway is a road trip planning platform for sports fans. We help you build itineraries across North American sports leagues and international tournaments, surface partner offers (tickets, lodging, rental cars, experiences, merchandise), and share trips with others.

GameAway is a planning tool. We are not a travel agency, ticket seller, hotel operator, rental car company, or merchandise retailer. Transactions for tickets, lodging, rental cars, experiences, and merchandise happen on third-party partner sites under their terms.

Accounts

To use certain features, you'll need an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Keep your password secure
• Not share your account with others
• Be responsible for activity under your account

You can delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@gameaway.io.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute our content or data without permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Interfere with the operation of the site, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access
• Upload malicious code or content that violates others' rights
• Use the site to harass, defraud, or harm other users
• Misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Content you create

When you create itineraries, save trips, or share content on GameAway, you keep ownership of your content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and process that content as needed to operate the service. If you share a trip publicly (via a share link), you grant us the right to display that shared content to anyone with the link.

You are responsible for the content you create. Don't post things that infringe others' rights or violate the law.

Third-party partners and affiliate links

GameAway participates in affiliate programs. When you click a partner link and complete a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

Important: Transactions on partner sites — including ticket purchases, hotel bookings, rental car reservations, experience bookings, and merchandise orders — are governed by the partner's terms and policies, not ours. GameAway is not responsible for:

• The accuracy of partner pricing, availability, or descriptions
• Partner fulfillment, refunds, cancellations, or customer service
• Disputes between you and any partner
• Changes to partner offerings or policies

If you have a problem with a partner transaction, contact the partner directly.

Sports schedules, venues, and event data

We make a good-faith effort to keep schedules, venue information, and event data accurate, but we don't guarantee it. Schedules change. Venues update. Always confirm details directly with the league, team, or venue before traveling.

GameAway is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any sports league, team, venue, or governing body unless explicitly stated.

Service availability and changes

We do our best to keep GameAway running smoothly, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. During the early access period, the service is provided as-is and may change substantially without notice.

Disclaimer

GameAway is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion of certain warranties; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GameAway and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) 100 EUR.

This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct under Swedish law).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GameAway and its operator from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the service, or your infringement of others' rights.

Termination

You can stop using GameAway at any time and delete your account by emailing hello@gameaway.io. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including content licenses, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — survive termination.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Sweden, except where applicable consumer protection law gives you the right to bring claims in your local jurisdiction.

If you are an EU consumer, you can also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
