Las Vegas Ballpark sits in Downtown Summerlin — a Howard Hughes Corporation master-planned town center that combines open-air shopping, dining, the ballpark, and the adjacent City National Arena (the Golden Knights' practice facility). The arrangement makes the ballpark one of the most pleasantly walkable minor-league environments in the country: dozens of restaurants and bars sit within a few blocks of the gates. Red Rock Casino Resort, the most prominent off-Strip Station Casinos property, sits a short ride west. The Strip and downtown Las Vegas are 20–25 minutes east by car. The neighborhood reads more 'planned suburban town center with a ballpark' than 'minor-league industrial district' — closer in feel to Frisco's Toyota Stadium than to a typical Triple-A park.

Plan to arrive an hour before first pitch — Downtown Summerlin's free-flow parking system and the walk in from the surrounding garages is gentle, and most Aviators games have a relaxed pre-game atmosphere unlike most Strip events. The ballpark's defining feature is the climate-controlled main concourse and the misting and shade systems throughout the seating bowl — necessary innovations for the desert summer heat. The pool beyond center field is a private rental but visible from much of the park. The Aviators publish current bag policy and gate-open times on their official site — these change season to season, so check before traveling. The Athletics (MLB) have played select home games at Las Vegas Ballpark during their multi-year Sacramento-and-relocation transition starting 2025 — when an A's date is on the calendar, check the team site for that specific game's logistics, since the operational footprint differs from a standard Aviators date.

Las Vegas Ballpark opened in April 2019 as the Triple-A home of the Las Vegas Aviators (the Athletics' top minor-league affiliate, relocated and rebranded from Cashman Field downtown). The ballpark was developed by the Howard Hughes Corporation as the centerpiece of Downtown Summerlin and is considered one of the highest-end minor-league parks in the country — climate-controlled concourse, misting systems throughout the bowl, and a 10,000-seat capacity designed for the Las Vegas Triple-A market. The Aviators have been the day-to-day tenant since opening. In 2025, with the Athletics' multi-year transition from Oakland through Sacramento to a planned new Strip stadium under way, the team began playing a small number of MLB home games at Las Vegas Ballpark as part of the relocation process — the Sacramento Sutter Health Park serves as the franchise's primary 2025–2027 MLB home, with select home games rotating to Las Vegas Ballpark to build the local fan base. Las Vegas Ballpark itself is not the A's eventual permanent home; that stadium is being built on the Strip at the former Tropicana site.
