Energizer Park

The stadium anchors the broader CITYPARK / Energizer Park district, with a team training facility and supporters' plaza on the footprint and Union Station's restored complex (now a hotel, aquarium, and Ferris wheel) immediately east. The Central West End neighborhood with its restaurants and bars sits a short ride west, and downtown St. Louis with Ballpark Village and Busch Stadium is a 15-minute walk east. The MX/Power & Light district isn't a feature here as in Kansas City — the pre-match scene is concentrated on the team-operated supporters' plaza and in nearby Downtown West and Central West End bars. The Gateway Arch and Mississippi riverfront are a longer walk or short ride east.

Arrive earlier than feels necessary — the supporters' march from the team-operated plaza into the stadium is a core part of the matchday experience, and security screening at the main gates can stack up. CITY SC's St. Louligans supporters' section sits in the north end and produces some of the loudest, most-organized atmosphere in MLS. The stadium is the first MLS venue built to be carbon-neutral in operations and uses an open canopy design that keeps the seating bowl mostly open-air. The team publishes current bag policy, clear-bag rules, and gate-open times on its official site and these change season to season — check before traveling. Mobile-only tickets and cash-free concessions are the norm.

Energizer Park opened in November 2022 (with regular-season MLS play beginning in March 2023) as the home of St. Louis CITY SC, MLS's first majority-female-owned ownership group's expansion team. The stadium was originally branded CITYPARK and was renamed Energizer Park in March 2024 when Energizer Holdings — the St. Louis-based battery and consumer-products company — acquired the naming rights. The building is the first MLS venue designed to be carbon-neutral in operations and incorporates extensive solar capacity, water-reuse systems, and the city's first all-electric stadium kitchen. CITY SC's 2023 inaugural MLS season produced a record-setting expansion run, finishing first in the Western Conference standings and producing one of the league's most decorated debuts. The St. Louligans supporters' section in the north end has quickly established itself as one of MLS's loudest organized atmospheres. The stadium sits adjacent to Union Station's restored complex in Downtown West, with the team's training facility on the same campus.
